Kutay Kalkan

Hi,

 

My name is Kutay. I was born in Mersin, Turkey as a son of a businessman and a high school teacher. I left Mersin and went to the capitol to have my computer science degree from one of the top universities in Turkey. I came to USA after getting full scholarship from University of Delaware to have a masters degree in information management. In return, I had to develop an inventory management system for restaurants and to teach it to students in class. This saved the university a lot of time and money. Moreover, I had a chance to write a lot of research papers with my professors in my free time and presented them in multiple cities around the USA, one of them being in a conference abroad.

After that, I moved to New Jersey to start my consulting career. Then switched jobs to become a full time software engineer at Amazon, which has given me the ultimate self confidence and discipline.
